| What we provide | |||||||||
| The church is completely decorated for your wedding, with two large arrangements of fresh flowers at the front of the church — one on top of the organ and the other on a pedestal in the opposite front corner of the church. The candles in the two tall candelabra behind the altar are lit for every wedding unless requested otherwise, and the antique brass chandelier overhead is switched on. | |||||||||

A posy of fresh flowers in a small vase sits on the registry signing table at the front of the church. This table is round, and covered in a floor length Batenberg lace cloth. Pew ribbons adorn the aisle ends of each pew, and a length of carpet runs down the aisle. The church facilities are always clean, the grounds well maintained and the lawns mown twice a week. |

Time Allowed Should there be more than one wedding per day, they are booked at least two hours apart. For instance, if you book a 2:00pm ceremony, your two hours starts at 1:30pm, allowing your guests to arrive in plenty of time for the occasion, and to enjoy the family get-together which invariably occurs. This also gives us time to sweep after the previous wedding, perhaps to attach your own special pew decorations, vacuum church, renew candles, arrange seating for musicians etc. and generally to prepare the church to the high standard that we feel is necessary. |

The bride arrives at 2:00pm (a few minutes late is traditional, but remember more can cause problems for the celebrant and musician, who often have other engagements to go onto). Photos are taken and the bridal party enters the church by 2:10—2:15pm. The ceremony, other than a nuptial mass, takes 20—25 minutes.

The couple prepare to leave the church to the happy acclamation of guests, and spend the next 50—60 minutes in a whirl of hugs, kisses, congratulations, photographs and rose petals (modest amounts of confetti are acceptable if this is your dream, but remember that some brands will leave stains on the bridal attire!). Rice we don't like, as it gets squashed on paving and is difficult to remove.
| Should there be a 4:00pm wedding, the grounds need to be clear by 3:35pm. If no such booking exists we are happy to allow an extra 20-30 minutes for photographs. | |||||||||
If the wedding is scheduled for late afternoon, the fairy lights that outline the church will be switched on as the daylight fades — this is very festive and pretty and makes for lovely photographs. There is no additional charge for this. Should you wish to hold a rehearsal prior to the wedding day, we will happily make the church available at a mutually convenient time at no extra charge. |

On the day of the wedding, a manager is always in attendance to take care of the many unseen (and unforseen) things which make the day flow smoothly e.g. opening the gates for the Bridal vehicles, light candles, check toilets, feeds the birds, open windows, sweep up confetti, fetch glasses of water/head-ache tablets/safety pins etc. for the groom/groomsman/mother of the bride. This person is well mannered, well dressed, cheerful and competent, so rest assured you are in good hands!
