We are happy to recommend and advise if required, but you are free to bring the person of your choice, and at your cost.

You will need to discuss legalities with this person, so do make sure you arrange this at least 6 weeks prior to the wedding.

The Music

Some couples bring their own sound system and have a trusted friend push buttons at the appropriate time. Others choose live music in the form of a vocalist, string trio/quartet, harpist, cellist, Irish band, bagpiper — whatever your vision of music on this very special and personal occasion, we will do our best to help you realise it.

Our musical director, Davin Patterson is a highly qualified young graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, and has also played in award winning rock bands. He has an extensive repertoire of ecclesiastical, rock and contemporary music, and is well qualified to play the antique pedal-organ.

The acoustics in the church are excellent, so putting special thought into the planning of the musical part of the programme is well worth while. Once again, the cost of the music is between you and the musician of your choice.
